It may come as a surprise, but Transport for London only came into existence in the year 2000. So, to celebrate their 25th anniversary, we created an illustrated poster campaign that ran across the entire London Transport network.
Inspired by a trip to the London Transport Poster archive, we sought to continue the tradition of iconic and beautiful illustrations that have made TfL posters known the world over. But with so many great stories to tell over the years, we needed a unifying device to pull them together. So we put the TfL roundel logo at the heart of every poster and then worked with an incredibly talented group of London-based illustrators to bring each story to life.
